2024 Acura Integra Is Making a Comeback to the Industry! – The 2024 Acura Integra has been confirmed! The Integra is coming to a comeback after it has left the American auto market for 15 years. Still designed as a popular and premium sporty compact ride, the Integra will likely come with its original design as the five-door ride. The 2024 model would be coming with a turbo 1.5 liter (standard) unit and manual six-speed transmission.
The Upcoming Update
The available 2024 model is currently a prototype, but it has provided enough glimpse of what the Integra will likely look like. With a new design, the Integra would look sporty, bold, and aggressive. It has a liftback tailgate and swooping roofline that combines great style and versatility at the same time. It’s safe to say that the new 2024 Acura Integra would have a great combo of look and features.
The new Integra is likely inspired by the S Acura, especially from the LED Chicane daytime running lights (located behind the headlights with Jeweled Eye) and also (frameless) Diamond Pentagon grille. You can expect a bolder and more muscular look at the back, but there would be stronger wheel arches and dual exhaust tubes. With the 19 inches wheels, the prototype delivers a sportier look with big Brembo brakes and yellow calipers.
The Interior Cabin
The interior cabin may likely look the same as the Civic but the premium vibe will still be maintained. The combination of overall versatility, design, technology, and spaciousness would be able to generate more boost and more power. The overall shape may look like a hatchback Civic. It’s also likely that the Integra would be coming with a similar unit as the Civic. If it’s true, then the new Integra would be able to generate 200 hp.
There is likely an S type, which shares a similar platform to the Civic S type. The S type would be designed as the stronger and more powerful version of the standard Integra. But the powertrain will likely be standard with a turbo engine and manual six-speed transmission. It’s safe to say that the Integra would be created as a performance ride, competing against Beemer 2 Series, Mercy A-Class, and also Audi A3.
Price and Release Date
Despite its power and impressive performance, the new Integra would still be made affordable. The starting price may start at $30,000. It makes the ride quite competitive while appealing at the same time. If you have to compare it with the Civic hatchback, you should know that Civic hatch Sport Touring, which runs on a turbo unit with a 1.5-liter capacity and manual six-speed transmission, is sold at around $30,500.
If everything goes as planned, the 2024 Integra would be the first-ever Integra manufactured in America. Everyone hopes that Integra can deliver a promising performance and it ‘lives up to the expectation’. Hopefully, it can get out of Civic’s shadow while avoiding the similar fate of ILX, which is a part of Acura’s latest creation (which is based on Civic design). Let’s just hope that the upcoming 2024 Acura Integra won’t disappoint.
